Over a few weeks time, all of your computer equipment is coated in a fine layer of dust and dirt. They also did monthly or bi-monthly meetings to let everyone know what the current objectives were and company progress.Īll electronic product testing and repair is done in a warehouse environment which is bad due to the ESD risk with dust and the dry air here. Owners were very proactive when it came to handling the business - sometimes they would come down and help assist other co-workers if needed. You may get the chance to advance if you are well-liked by the other employees and managers sometimes regardless of qualifications. Managers were ok but it seemed like the managers all tried to fight with each other to get their ideas heard and implemented over the others and be higher up in the owners' esteem. It started to seem more like indecision than actual progression towards making the business better. While at first I applauded them for making changes to try and improve the business, they constantly kept changing rules, procedures, etc on you and you had to constantly re-learn things in order to do your job they way they wanted you to. Don't get used to doing the same procedures for the same job. The bad part of this job is that the pay is mediocre for the work you do but there is opportunity for sales bonuses if you work in a job that is eligible to get that. The company has a really good potential to grow and expand if the right conditions are there. The owners and upper management try and go out of their way to make it feel like you are part of their business family by doing cook-outs, off-site baseball games, prize draws based on attendance/performance, etc.

Some of the people there were really friendly. Overtime is sometimes available if they need the extra man power in certain departments like shipping. The good part about this job is that the work generally isn't too hard and if you like steady work and good consistent hours then this job is good.
